Search warrant executed in Kincarine and 1/4 million dollars worth of drugs, cash and other items seized.
On October 11, 2018 members from the Grey-Bruce Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) was assisted by Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) and the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) as they executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant on a property located on Concession 11 in the Municipality of Kincardine.
As a result of the investigation, police seized over 600 cannabis marihuana plants, cannabis marihuana buds, cannabis marihuana shake, cannabis marihuana edibles, and over $4200 in Canadian currency. The estimated combined value of the seized controlled substances is approximately $250,000.
Brian Dunseith, 65-years-old and Linda M'Larkey, 60-years-old, both from Kincardine have been charged with the following offences contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act:
Produce a Schedule II Substance (Cannabis Marihuana)
Produce a Schedule II Substance (Cannabis Resin)
Possession of Marihuana for the Purposes of trafficking
Possession of Cannabis Resin for the Purposes of Trafficking
They will appear at The Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton at a future date to answer to their charges.
