Police seek assistance with collision involving a pedestrian.
At about 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon a pedestrian was westbound along the sidewalk on the south side of 10th Street East approaching the intersection at 7th Avenue East, across from the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre. The woman continued westbound entering the intersection as she had the appropriate traffic signal to do so. A red automobile attended the intersection from the south along 7th Avenue East, with the driver of the car making a right turn at the intersection. The car collided with the pedestrian and continued eastbound along 10th Street East. The young woman was treated for minor injuries and released from Grey Bruce Health Services. This matter is still under investigation.
