opp p0lice july fullIn the early morning hours of January 24, 2019, Cape Croker Police and Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police were called to a residence at Park Road, Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation for a 27-year-old male suffering from life threatening injuries. A 17-year-old female was taken into custody at that time.

Cape Croker Police, assisted by members of the Bruce Peninsula OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Staff Sergeant Bryan Gast of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), continue to investigate this incident.

The 17-year-old female from Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation has been charged with Attempt to Commit Murder, and Assault a Peace Officer.
