Police investigate the theft of tools from outbuildings in Southgate.
On March 27, 2019 at approximately 7:38 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break, enter and theft from outbuildings located on Southgate Road 14 between Grey Road 14 and Southgate Sideroad 13 in the Township of Southgate.
Sometime overnight two insecure outbuildings were entered by unknown person(s). The stolen property included chain saws, a sledge hammer, welder, gas cans and a tool bag containing various hand held tools. In addition, approximately 150 litres of gas was stolen.
