oppb graphic fullGrey County Provincial Police is investigating the theft of two motor vehicles stolen from a parking lot on McDuff Street in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

On April 26, 2019 at approximately 7:15 a.m., Grey County OPP attended the parking lot of an apartment complex located on McDuff Street in Markdale in response to the theft. Investigation revealed that sometime during the early hours of April 26th, unknown person(s) forcibly entered a maintenance garage on the property. Several sets of car keys were removed from a lock box inside the garage. Two vehicles were stolen at the time. Description as follows:

- A white, 2011 GMC Sierra pick-up truck, Ontario Licence AB22767, VIN 1GTN1VEA7BZ256720. The truck contained two black service boxes containing various carpentry and plumbing tools.

- A silver, 2018 Kia Sorento, Ontario Licence BYWV895, VIN 5XYPGD58JG370507 with an attached trailer hitch.

Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information which may assist to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
