On April 27, 2019, on the opening day of fishing season, two males were issued warnings with respect to trespassing under the Trespass to Property Act (TPA).
At approximately 10:07 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a trespassing complaint on Big Bay Sideroad in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. Two unknown males had entered private property to access a river where they were found fishing.
Grey County OPP wish use this opportunity to remind the public that you must have the property owner's permission to enter the property for any recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, etc. Failing to do so may result in charges.
