On October 19, 2019 at 3:43 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on West Back Line between 130 Road and 140 Road, Grey Highlands. The collision involved a (grey) van travelling northbound and a (grey) motorcycle travelling southbound.

OPP officers were assisted at the scene by Grey County Paramedics and Grey Highlands Fire Department. OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended to assist with the investigation.

The 46 year old driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver and passengers of the (grey) van were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The deceased has been identified as William ROURKE of Waterloo.  

No charges have been laid at this time. Grey Bruce OPP continue to investigate the circumstance surrounding the collision.
