oppcruiser2On January 6, 2020 at 10:40 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle collision along Bruce County Road 10 in Arran Township. Officers arrived to find the vehicle had left the roadway and entered the ditch.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

Members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) unit are assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.

Bruce County Road 10 has been closed between Concession 10 and Concession 12 in Arran Township for the protection of emergency responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident area.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
