On May 11, 2020 at 12:14 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a 911 call for a domestic incident at a residence on Grey Bruce Line, Georgian Bluffs in Grey County.

OPP officers attended the residence and arrested a person in the driveway. During the investigation officers were made aware of other incidents that had taken place during the relationship.

Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 39 year old from Georgian Bluffs with the following offences,

Three counts of assault, section 266 Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
Utter threat to cause death or bodily harm, section 264.1(1)(a) CC
Three counts of mischief under $5000, section 430(4) CC
Possession of prohibited device or ammunition, section 92(2) CC
Three counts of possession of firearm or ammunition, section 117.01(1) CC

The accused was held for a bail hearing on May 12, 2020.
