The Owen Sound 2 Northstars MacKinnon Plumbing and Heating U13 Girls took their first win of the season in Ontario Women’s Field Lacrosse action Sunday in Kitchener Waterloo.

Owen Sound first played Mimico 2 in a tight match, losing 3-2. Northstars goals were scored by Hailey Feltis and Hannah Davies.

In their second game, Owen Sound defeated Halton Hills 6-4. Emma Cooper scored 3 goals with Hannah Davies adding a pair and Jessa Rutter scoring a single for Owen Sound.

The team is next in action on Sunday, June 2 in Brampton where they play Orillia and Oakville 2.
