Fire Chief, Doug Barfoot is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Clark as the Deputy Fire Chief.

Mr. Clark comes to Owen Sound from the City of Brampton, where he was the Fire Chief and previously held the positions of Deputy Fire Chief, Division Chief of Training, Assistant Division Chief of Training, Training Officer and was a Firefighter for 20 years. He received the Fire Chief of the Year award in 2016 from the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs.

"We are very excited to welcome Mr. Clark to the City of Owen Sound," said Fire Chief, Doug Barfoot. "His knowledge and experience will be great assets in helping to lead our team."

Mr. Clark begins his role as Deputy Fire Chief on Monday, July 24, 2017.
