92.3 The Dock today announced that the 'Radio for Radiology' campaign has reached its goal of raising $250,000 in support the purchase of a new CT scanner of Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound Regional Hospital.

"We are thrilled to reach our target and to help make a difference for so many people in our area," said Paul Larche, President of Larche Communications, parent company of 92.3 The Dock.

"It's because of the generosity of our listeners, advertisers and community partners that we achieved this goal. I am so proud of our great team at 'The Dock' who have put in countless hours of effort into Radio for Radiology. This is part of our company culture, so stay tuned for our future plans," said Larch.

For many serious and potentially life-threatening health issues, the first step towards treatment and recovery is a CT scan. The new equipment has been installed at the Hospital, with about 10,000 tests completed each year on patients from across Grey and Bruce Counties.
