The region's largest job fair is set to return for its fourth year on March 8, 2017. The event will run from 2:00 to 6:00pm at Heritage Place Shopping Centre in Owen Sound. The Regional Job Fair is hosted in partnership with Grey County Economic Development, YMCA Employment Services, Georgian College, Four County Labour Market Planning Board and the City of Owen Sound.
Last year, over 60 employers and 1100 job seekers took part in the event. Employers from across the region will be in attendance offering permanent, seasonal and student positions in a variety of fields.
The event helps to paint the picture that opportunity exists in Grey County and surrounding region. Employers are actively seeking to fill jobs, at the same time potential employees are looking for meaningful work. This job fair, and others like it, help to streamline the connection between employer and potential employee.
Employers wishing to participate can register with Amy Norris at the YMCA (519-371-9222 x 230 or [email protected] . The event is free for employers and members of the public to attend.
