On August 26, 2017 at approximately 5:02 a.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police investigated the theft of a 2009 Ford F350 diesel pick-up truck from a residence on Parker Street West in the Municipality of Meaford. The truck was recovered the same morning on Victoria Street in Meaford. A Dewalt air compressor and two roofing nail guns were stolen from the box of the truck.

At the time of the theft, the truck was unlocked with the keys inside.

Police remind residents to keep their vehicles locked and keep valuables out of plain view.
