On March 30, 2018 at approximately 3:38 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a landlord - tenant dispute at a property on Grey Road 2 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Investigation revealed that the landlord attended the property for the purpose of shutting off the heat after the tenant had failed to pay the rent for more than two months. The landlord then entered a shed and threw some of the tenant's property outside, causing damage to the property.

As a result of the investigation, the landlord, a 64-year old male from Grey Highlands, was charged with mischief under $5,000.

He is scheduled to attend court in Owen Sound on April 19, 2018.
