Male charged after failing to report a collision.

On February 23, 2019 at approximately 11:15 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the ditch on Highway 6 at Southgate Road 12, in the Municipality of West Grey.

The driver, who was not the registered owner of the vehicle, was identified. Police located the male at his residence later in the day. After further investigation, he was charged with Fail to Remain, Fail to Report, and Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

42-year old Aaron Love of the Township of Southgate is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on April 1, 2019 to answer to the charges.
