Two Owen Sound residents face a series of charges after officers from the Owen Sound Police Service and the Grey-Bruce O.P.P. collaborated to combat local property crime.
The investigation, which included the execution of search warrants at two west- side apartments, resulted in the recovery of stolen property including a Motor Vehicle, licence plates, a Mitre Saw, BMW tires and keys for Caterpillar, Kiote and John Deere heavy equipment.
Officers also seized Cocaine, Crystal Methamphetamine, Purple Fentanyl, Heroin and more than $2,800 cash in the investigation.
A 38- year- old man of no fixed address is charged with five counts of possession of stolen property as well as Possession of Methamphetamine and breach of an Undertaking.
A 30- year- old Owen Sound female is charged with Possession of stolen property, Possession of Cocaine and Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, and simple possession of Fentanyl, and Heroin. She was further charged with possession of stolen property and possession of proceeds of crime.
Both individuals have future court dates scheduled to answer to the charges.
