The Owen Sound Attack and Kitchener Rangers are set to do battle on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at the Bayshore in a make up game after the two were snowed out on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

A 7:00pm puck drop will see the 6th instalment of the season series between the Midwest Division rivals, as both teams enter the game with identical 6-3-1-0 records in their past 10 contests.

The Attack, who picked up five of a possible six points in a weekend road trip, are coming off of a 5-4 overtime loss to the Oshawa Generals on Family Day, while Kitchener was similarly downed by a score of 5-4 on the holiday, their loss coming at the hands of the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Owen Sound has grabbed five out of a possible 10 points on the year against Kitchener, with the last meeting seeing the Rangers win 5-2 at the Bayshore on Jan. 23.

Kitchener has already clinched a spot in the 2016 Ontario Hockey League playoffs thanks to their 37-11-5-0 record, while the Attack can secure their place in the post season as early as this weekend. Owen Sound sits at 24-19-7-3, good for 58 points and 6th in the Western Conference, two spots back of the Rangers who hold down 4th place with 79 points.

Rookie forward Nick Suzuki will lead the Bears into battle on Wednesday with a team high 17 goals on the year, including three in the team's recent road swing. Suzuki sits just five lamp-lighters behind Bobby Ryan's team record of 22 goals in an underage campaign and has 15 games left to tie or pass the now NHL star's mark.

Kitchener is powered by sophomore forward Adam Mascherin who has 30 goals and 35 assists in 50 games on the year.

Wednesday night's game will see the Attack and SunLife Financial Group host the Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving (OSAID) at the SunLife Community Corner, located in the south concourse of the arena.

OSAID is an anti-impaired driving initiative which is found across the province of Ontario, Canada that is aimed primarily at getting involved in combating impaired driving.

OSAID is about teens helping teens to consider safe alternatives and new perspectives to the perceived norms about alcohol, drugs and dangerous driving.

Each year OSAID reaches more than 300 000 students through 300 chapters with 5000 volunteers in Ontario. One of the methods used to raise awareness of the initiative is through an annual conference held every year in the spring.

At this conference, students from across Ontario come together to learn what impaired driving is, its consequences, and what students themselves can do to stop it. These students then take this experience
back to their schools to help campaign for this cause.

In the case of Bruce Peninsula District School, members of OSAID will be present at the
game on Wednesday to help spread the word of safe driving practices.

Fans are encouraged to visit OSAID at the Sun Life Financial Community Corner booth where they can learn more about OSAID and what they look to accomplish in Grey-Bruce in 2016.

Tickets for Wednesday night's tilt are available at the DJ's Furniture Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com, or by calling 519-371-7452.

The Weekend Preview is presented by Joe Tomato's, located next to the Galaxy Cinemas on the Sunset Strip. Attack fans can enjoy half priced wings and appetizers at Joe Tomato's following every Attack home game just by bringing in their ticket stubs.
