The Owen Sound Attack has named Vegas Golden Knights prospect Nick Suzuki the team's Huron Tractor Supply Player of the Week for the 14th week of action in the Ontario Hockey League season.
Over three games beginning on Thursday, Dec. 28 against the Kitchener Rangers and culminating on New Year's Eve in Barrie, Suzuki - who sits 5th in the OHL in scoring - had one goal and two assists for three points in a trio of losing efforts.
Held off the scoresheet against the Rangers, Suzuki bounced back with a pair of assists against the Colts on Saturday, Dec. 30 before scoring his 18th goal of the year on Sunday at the Molson Centre.
Now, in 31 games, Suzuki has 47 points and is on 103 point pace over a 68 game season.
In the midst of his 3rd year with the Attack, Suzuki has 83 goals and 98 assists in 159 career regular season games to go along with 24 points in 23 playoff contests.

Suzuki and his teammates will be back in action this Friday when they head to Guelph before returning home to play the Kitchener Rangers on Saturday, Jan. 6. Puck drop for Saturday's game is slated for 3:45pm and will be broadcast nationally on Rogers Sportsnet.
